I cannot agree enough!
With a much higher ceiling these talented devs can really give us a stylish and creative experience.These are the type of guys that create something "anti generic"....
It would be great to see them create a new game mechanic,and create a act/adv/platformer with all the added new gen power backing the eye candy and gameplay/phyics,A.I. .....Be it with MediEvil or an all new IP.....

First of all it's my favorite game this gen! And nearing my favorite game of all time....
I want a new IP and or more LBP content!
But no matter what I want to see more LBP.By this Fall it will be 2 years since the LBP release.I am hoping to see some major surprise at "perhaps" the next GDC in March as I did 2 years ago.

Sly had style,creativity,a quirky touch and feel.It stood out from the crowd of generic games.
Bang,bang,blow up this and that,hack and slash,grunge coloring,muted greens and dull browns ( not saying thats what Infamous was)....Too bad Sly cannot appear on the PS3,the extra ceiling due to power the devs would have would really allow their creative juices so much more space for vision from eye candy to gameplay,A.I. physics than what was possible on the PS2.

I have a friend I have worked with in the past on art for a movie,he worked on set pieces/assets for the BG&E2's teaser video,but has moved on since.
No new news since the teaser. I certanly hope this is the announcement,that this game is officially on and in full production.
We need more games on the opposite spectrum of generic titles,more style,creativity,and innovation.This game could be something special,I am in hopes of it being a reality.

For me this is my most anticipated game this year.
Games like this and LBP,Uncharted 2 make me feel warm and fuzzy.This masterpiece in the making cannot get here soon enough.
With the extra power this talented team have now,I can only dream of just how high they set the bar....Not just eye candy,but in new innovative gameplay mechanics and A.I.

Same here,I expect perfection,and somehow know that it will meet my expectation.This game cannot ever be overhyped for me personally,as I know it will deliver the goods....

I agree and feel pretty much the same.
I think with this involving "Shinji Mikami" you have to sit up and take notice. Odds are this will be something special,verdict is still out,as I hope it falls into my field of taste.....I have been playing them from Pong and Space invaders,and creating them as an artist/designer from 89',and cannot think of a more incredible "potential" line-up then 10'...
I agree,and would be more than welcoming to both games.And with a couple Months apart it would make even more sense.However I dont know what Microsoft are thinking on this.
The Gears series is my favorite,and Halo/Reach is another standout series,I am all for both coming out on the same day if you ask me.

Gears 3 coming at the sametime as Reach would be very surprising.However if Reach comes in mid September and Gears 3 in mid November it has a slight chance of happening,but holding your breath for that could be futile....

Give me Maximo 3 with new gen backing and some new game mechanic.Something that helps evolve games,an added twist, Dev's need to think more like "media Molecule" think outside of the box,bring something new and creative,something that 10 years from now people will still feel warmly about.

I believe that the next Jim is in great hands with "Douglas TenNapel",as he was the heart and soul of the series and JIM...
I want games like this and the upcoming Alice to make it through the dev cycle,we need more games like these....
